The heat and humidity continues for a few more days as we head into the weekend so be sure to stay hydrated. The dome of high pressure that has brought oppressive temperatures continues on, however there is relief Saturday night into Sunday as a cold front moves through from the northern states. This will bring with it rain, cloud cover, and slightly cooler temps for Sunday. After the front passes, the work week will start off with pleasant weather as we reach only the low 80s which is a welcome relief after this week.
