Discussion:
For our 4th, showers and thunderstorms look likely. However, the timing of these looks to be between 4-6 pm, prime cooking time. However, as these are related to daytime heating, they should be out of the area by the time for fireworks and evening outside activities. Today looks like the best chance for rain, but chances persist throughout the weekend, similar to forecasts all week long. Temperatures remain in the upper 80s. Have a great 4th of July and stay safe!
