Discussion:
Today will be the coolest day of the week before summer time temps return. A cold front is moving through early Monday morning that will help keep temperatures in the upper 70s as it pushes the morning clouds off to our east. This will give us a westerly wind, leading to the pleasant conditions, only to become southwesterly by Tuesday. The change in wind direction will cause a 6-8 degree temperature jump on Tuesday leading to more summer-like conditions than we've really seen thus far. While do we look to be mainly dry for this forecast period, models are trying to place some rain in the area Tuesday night. Right now, rain looks to be scattered and if it does rain, it doesn't look too heavy or last long which is a relief for those along the river. Wednesday looks to continue the warm temperatures.
