The active period continues for the next few ways as multiple chances for rain and thunderstorms move across our region. Currently we are have storms to our south and are in a severe thunderstorm watch, but the main area of concern is southern MO. Once the storms move through our region by about 4-6 pm, chances for rain diminish. We then get a reprieve for a majority of the day Wednesday but as a cold front drops across our region, showers will begin come into the forecast period by 5-7 pm along the cold front. This front becomes stationary and forms as a focus region for rain and thunderstorms for Thursday. The front eventually leaves by Friday.

Forecasters:  Heaven, Munley, Tippin, and Hirsch
Issued: 4:00 p.m. p.m.; 4 June 2019
