High pressure persists into the weekend under a large upper level ridge maintaining position over the central US. Seasonally, this means hot temperatures with Heat Indices capable of reaching triple digits. We can expect high temperatures in upper 80's to low 90's for the next few days with Heat Indices reaching the upper 90's to low 100's. Precaution should be taken over the next few days as temperatures will be dangerously high.
