Rain showers will linger through most of the day today as a cold front moves into the area. Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon. We can expect around 0.5 in of rain throughout the day. Southerly winds return tomorrow which will aid in the trend of increasing temperatures and humidity. Some sun will return to the forecast on Thursday before the clouds build back in Thursday night. Friday will be hot and humid with high temperatures reaching into the upper 80's possibly even the low 90's. The heat index will be between 102-106.
