Discussion:
Fall like weather will be on tap for the next few days  A weak upper low will pass by this afternoon and bring a brief end to our clouds and rain.  However, another upper disturbance will move by the area during the day on Sunday and bring us another day like we had on Friday.  In between, we'll get a brief glimpse of the sun and a small temperature bump on Saturday.  Next week will feature daytime highs mostly in the 60s.

Technical Discussion (The nerdy stuff we are discussing in class!)
Largely zonal flow settles into the Midwest for the duration of this forecast cycle.  H5 S/W over currently western Missouri will zip thorough mid-Missouri Friday evening and we can expect improving conditions in its wake for Saturday.  However, the high-index flow will keep waves zipping by us, and we can expect another round of clouds and precipitation in response to yet another weak S/W that will pass by the area during the day on Sunday, bringing another chance for rain.  A more vigorous H5 S/W will plow through later on Monday, bringing a more substantive change to our cloud/precip situation, but also reinforcing our more fall like temperatures.
