Discussion:
Upper level high pressure churning over the Southwestern CONUS will
continue to dictate the weather pattern over Columbia. Seasonally cool
temperatures will continue through the week thanks to northerly flow
over the region as a high pressure center to our
west slowly migrate northeast. This will shift our winds from north to
east over Tuesday and Wednesday suppressing any hot and humid conditions
like we have seen over the previous week. Precipitation chances are
minimal through the forecast period as the upper
level flow steers weather systems up and around the Midwest. Look for
high temperatures in the low to mid 80's through Thursday with
seasonally low relative humidity values keeping the summer heat away
from the region. Enjoy!
