As we head into the holiday weekend, chances for showers and thunderstorms persist. However, there should be an increase in cloud cover leading to slightly cooler temperatures on Friday. Similar to prior forecasts, showers and thunderstorms are possible all weekend and will dissipate once the sun sets. The weekend shouldn't be a washout but some areas could see heavy rain localized flooding.
