Discussion:
Summer-like weather returns for the next few days with temperatures higher than normal for this time of year. Winds out of the south will keep us warm and humid through Wednesday. Moisture from the south will keep clouds around but we will see plenty of sunshine and stay dry.

Technical Discussion (The nerdy stuff we are discussing in class!)
A summer-like pattern makes an appearance to start the week. A summer-like ridge has set up in the southeastern portion of the US with a high existing at 500 mb and 850 mb which will create a zonal flow in the atmoshpere. Our conditions will leave us in a southerly flow which will advect plenty of moisture coupled with the warmer temps. The presences of this low level moisture will allow for a mix of clouds and sun throughout the day. For the entirety of the forecast period, temperatures will be well above climo for this time of year with 80s expected. Wednesday looks to be the warmest of the week as recent temperature trends have tended upwards but have erred on a slightly cooler side as high 80s is almost anomalous for this time of year.
